FifthIngenium at 5GINED: Driving Inclusion Through 5G and XR
Naples, October 1st – FifthIngenium proudly took part as partner in 5GINED – “5G for INclusion and EDucation”, a strategic initiative funded by the European Commission under the CEF Digital programme. The project explores how 5G connectivity and Extended Reality (XR) can become powerful enablers of social equity and inclusive education.
During the event, our Program Manager, Sergio Maiocchi, joined the panel discussion, sharing FifthIngenium’s contribution to building a future where technology reduces inequalities and supports learners of all backgrounds.
TINALP: Beyond Software, Towards Equity
One of the highlights was FifthIngenium’s flagship product TINALP, an innovative and customized immersive learning solution in XR and AI, with a learning by doing approach.
TINALP embodies our belief that technology is not an end in itself, but a tool for empowerment. By combining immersive XR experiences with 5G low-latency networks, the platform creates personalized, engaging, and accessible education pathways for students everywhere.
Bridging the Innovation Gap in Italy and Beyond
Participating in 5GINED was more than a professional milestone—it was a profoundly meaningful experience for our team. As Sergio Maiocchi expressed, the real reward is knowing that our collective efforts help:
- In Naples: promoting social inclusion and addressing school dropout rates
- In Matera: tackling geographical and logistical isolation, ensuring equal access to education
Through these initiatives, FifthIngenium and its partners are working to bridge the innovation gap in Italy, empowering every student, regardless of background.

A Collective Effort Towards Inclusion
We sincerely thank all our partners and the European Commission for supporting this transformative journey. Together, we are proving that 5G and XR are not just cutting-edge technologies but also instruments of social progress.
