What did the customer ask for?

MOSAIC is a project supported by Cariplo Foundation and Cariplo Crew. The goal was to create a product to promote the inclusion in school of children with autism disorder’s, through a teachers training program and by using customizable and programmable Smart Objects. Focus of the trial was the first months of primary school, since school integration in a new environment is not easy for children with autism disorder, but this system was later applied to older children attending more advanced classes.

Solution

Through MOSAIC it is possible to create customized playful-educational activities aimed at targeting specific needs of the autistic child and the class group. During the period of experimentation we perfected the product and the training offer. We collected encouraging results for the effectiveness of the product in terms of school inclusion (+90%), for the use of Smart Objects in teaching (+94%) and for quality of teachers’ training (+91% improving teachers autism knowledges).

MOSAIC is now available on the market. Thanks to the designed for all concept, it is usable from any people, with any kind of disability, from 3 to 14 years old.

What did the customer ask for?

The client pitched the need of developing a custom client software for Windows PCs to allow its customers to access their Virtual Private Networks and the devices connected via the custom Client routers and firewalls.

Revit BIM Plugin

What did the customer ask for?

The client wanted to achieve a better integration between the extensive amount of BIM data and the existing Customer Relationship Management software, with a simple and effective process that would connect seamlessly the job of the Engineering and Architecture team with the Sales Team, improving the quality and speed of the design and sales processes. 

Solution

We developed a custom Autodesk Revit plugin, capable of exporting some of the BIM data into a proprietary web portal which elaborates it and then sends the final result to Salesforce (CRM) in order to provide Sales Team always updated information of the apartments and buildings.

What did the customer ask for?

The client wanted to offer an efficient Remote Assistance to its clients, with the aim to have business continuity during the COVID-19 pandemic, when traveling costs and times increased, by allowing a remote expert to being “phygitally” present near the local operator and the machine. 
The client wanted to offer to its perspective and existing customers an easy-to-use, efficient and simple tool to allow clients to choose their selected apartment features such as size, number of rooms, position and floor.
Another request was to allow the user to book an appointment with the Sales Team after configuring the apartment.

Solution

Starting from the raw architectural data extracted from the BIM, the tool calculates all the possible combinations of apartments that can be sold to fill every position in the building(s) and propose the user the unsold solutions, maximizing the economic result and minimizing the overlap of proposals on the same positions and floors.
The customer journey ends with the possibility to book an appointment, either online or in-store, to perfect his/her choice and possibly to close the deal.
All the information are also seamlessly integrated with the CRM, resulting in a more customized purchasing experience for the end customers, and a better organized sales experience for the Sales Managers.

What did the customer ask for?

Timac Agro Italia needed to optimize the CRM in support of the commercial network, implementing features to improve communication with their customers. 

Solution

FifthIngenium developed a mobile app for Timac Agro Italia’s technical sales team, with a double purpose: on the one hand, to collect information about prospects and customers and their crops, integrating this data to the existing CRM; on the other hand, to support the communication of the agronomist. In particular, from his tablet, the technician is able to show the farmer the phenological phases of different crops (apple, pear or tomato) and illustrate which product is targeted for each different growing phase, showing the technical data sheet and with the support of videos about the reference crop, and interviews with experts.

Fruit Logistica Kinect

What did the customer ask for?

Timac Agro Italia contacted us to get ready for its first time at the Fruit Logistica fair, an international trade fair about fresh fruit and vegetables. The company was participating with four country branches (Italy, Spain, Germany, and Poland) with the desire to stand out from its competitors by offering a smart and technological booth to its visitors. 

Solution

FifthIngenium developed three different applications, including an attractive Microsoft Kinect-powered app, to accompany the visitor’s arrival at the booth with an immersive gamified experience. In the hallway that served as entrance, in fact, a large screen reflected the visitor’s shape, projecting it with graphic effects that followed the movements in real-time. Up to four people could live the experience simultaneously.

What did the customer ask for?

Teachers and therapists need to create customized learning and rehabilitation activities, offering and inclusive setting in which the disable children can learn having fun. Technology cannot heal people, but it can help them overcome obstacles related to disability.

Solution

FifthElement is the first learning and therapy platform for motor and cognitive disabilities, based on pedagogic/rehabilitative paradigms of game and body movement. It allows to create inclusive learning “game-activities” customizable on their specific needs, which are very immersive and engaging as well. Using the movement and visual contents, FifthElement can stimulate different parts of patient’s brain, improving it’s capacity to create new neural patterns and to learn how overcome limits created by pathologies, helping both learning and socialization by carry out the activities with schoolmates.
