The customer wanted to optimize the CRM system by customizing it and giving their customers access to current orders, order history, shipment status, and the ability to download transport documents as well.
FifthIngenium developed a rapid, high performance CRM with an effective design. Client can now easily access all the information relating to current or previous orders, processing and shipping status and much more.

The client wanted to evaluate the accumulation of dust in the welding bench. In addition to this, the desire was to optimize cleaning operations as well.
FifthIngenium creates a dedicated sensor for data sampling. We provide for the integration of this sensor with a system for data collection, processing with Machine Learning approach, to estimate the best time for performing maintenance and cleaning operations.

The client needed a Workplace Design & Safety Risk Analysis tool to support the factory design team in planning a new area within the plant, to establish a brand new production line and configuring the spaces to ensure ergonomics and workers safety standards (WCM) are met.
HoloRelayout is the HoloLens application developed by FifthIngenium which solves this challenge: using Augmented Reality is possible to support the set-up and relayout operations of the line workstations, ensuring compliance with the rules of ergonomics and the physical spaces occupied by machineries, operators and tools, and reducing the risk of errors and the subsequent costs. This solution offers the possibility of positioning the hologram of machineries to evaluate the overall dimensions of the new production line. In addition, a full-size manikin hologram is provided to visualize the parameters/areas of ergonomics and safety, displaying the Strike zone and Golden zone (WCM).

The client wanted to support operators during maintenance operations, to ensure that all the tasks and procedures are carried out in the correct order and following the steps described in the instruction manuals of each machinery.
The developed Augmented Reality application can guide the operator step by step in the maintenance phase. By approaching the machine while wearing Microsoft Hololens running FifthIngenium’s custom app, the operator will be able to visualize the sequence of operations (checklist) he/she has to verify, each one displayed on a different block, with a clear indication to safety devices present on or nearby the machinery. For each step the operator can indicate if the task has been carried out or immediately report problems to the head of the shift through the app, which is connected to the factory signaling system. Finally, if necessary, the operator can load and display the instruction manual or videos with the technical data sheet, to learn or be reminded how to perform the required operations, while keeping his hands completely free.

The client wanted to offer its own customers an easy tool for maintenance and assistance for its main product, a “smart cable”, optimizing the cable maintenance process and offering the operator the possibility to receive real-time data from the smart cables via the embedded IoT framework without wasting paper.
HoloCable is the HoloLens application developed by FifthIngenium to satisfy the client needs. Using HoloLens, thanks to Mixed Reality the worker can access the real-time augmented information about the state of wear and tear of the cable, and the related technical data.
By having the information ready and displayed on a holographic board’s, whenever the IoT framework transmits a non-optimal status message, the worker can instantly access all the relevant data of the cable and easily proceed with the direct request for intervention, through the app itself.

IVECO wanted to solve a problem related to audit operation tools. The work shift could not begin if all the tools are not present in the workstation, timing only always quick because only the shift leader can proceed with the replacement of missing tools.
The solution developed by FifthIngenium was to optimize timing with the automation of this process, without needing the physical presence of the shift leader. IoT system with IP cameras using Machine Learning for the identification of the instruments and automatic detection of those missing, with a cascading alert system.

3D Viewer is an Augmented Reality application developed by FifthIngenium that allows to display digital 3D models within the real physical space. The application uses Microsoft HoloLens holographic technology to display new design elements and any related technical details.
Designed for Industry 4.0, it allows the creation and addition of 3D models in the app simply via QR code, at any time. The user can interact through a menu with the 3D object in different ways: by moving it or anchoring it in space; adding cutting planes for sectioning and analyzing the details; focusing one or more components, making some transparent, for a more targeted focus; share the experience among several people, for simultaneous observation of the same 3D object, both in presence and/or from remote.

The client wanted to offer an efficient Remote Assistance to its clients, with the aim to have business continuity during the COVID-19 pandemic, when traveling costs and times increased, by allowing a remote expert to being “phygitally” present near the local operator and the machine.
Through Braind 4.0 Remote Assist module and Mixed Reality technology, it is possible to instant teleport the remote expert avatar, along with its voice, video and 2D/3D content, in the factory, right next to the local operator. This enables the complete support of the local operator in every simple or complex procedure, thanks to FifthIngenium’s proprietary ultra low latency 3D synchronization technology.

During the Formnext conference in Frankfurt, an exhibition dedicated to Additive Manufacturing, Solvay presented the latest and newest innovative materials for 3D printing.
Solvay asked FifthIngenium to develop a very interactive HoloLens application, not only with the goal of displaying 3D product information, but also to entertain customers approaching the company booth.
The application indeed was a gaming experience: the resolution of a small puzzle to compose the plastic molecule in Augmented Reality.
Solvay is a chemical company which also deals with 3D printing with high-definition plastic materials.

Timac Agro Italia needed to optimize the CRM in support of the commercial network, implementing features to improve communication with their customers.
FifthIngenium developed a mobile app for Timac Agro Italia’s technical sales team, with a double purpose: on the one hand, to collect information about prospects and customers and their crops, integrating this data to the existing CRM; on the other hand, to support the communication of the agronomist. In particular, from his tablet, the technician is able to show the farmer the phenological phases of different crops (apple, pear or tomato) and illustrate which product is targeted for each different growing phase, showing the technical data sheet and with the support of videos about the reference crop, and interviews with experts.
Timac Agro Italia is the Italian branch of Groupe Roullier, an international company which deals with vegetable nutrition.
